Maintaining your pond with Heathland Aquatic Engineering

Pond maintenance can be a daunting prospect and sometimes it's hard to know where to start especially these days when we all have such busy lifestyles. It's often hard to put aside the time needed to devote to maintaining a healthy pond. So, at Heathland Aquatic Engineering we have set up a team to help you, whether you have a domestic or commercial pond, we can keep your pond in exquisite condition. Pond maintenance and cleaning should be carried out on a fairly regular basis to prevent the build-up of  harmful waste produced by fish stocks. In high sunlight levels or high UV situations such as the summer season, you may find the filtration system is clogging up regularly. A full service of the pond should be completed once per year, normally as the weather starts to warm up in the early spring.

Water quality is very important for the health of the fish stock and general aquatic life. Water clarity for your own enjoyment of the water feature is also very important. Regular servicing of pond equipment can extend the life of your equipment and will keep your pond or water feature in top condition. Any noteworthy manufacturer of pond equipment will recommend that pumps and other equipment are maintained regularly to meet with their guarantees and to keep the pond equipment in good working order.

Heathland Aquatic Engineering will maintain any pond or water feature including koi ponds, general fish ponds, bird bath maintenance, all the way up to lake maintenance and management. Pond cleaning can seem like a mammoth task but at Heathland Aquatic Engineering we can offer a maintenance service for all domestic and commercial clients and we are also able to offer an "out-of-hours" service to suit your needs.
